lonely smiles (2015)
a little about . . .
Lonely smiles began as a showcase of a few new acoustic styles of playing the guitar, but soon expanded into an elaborate, yet still attractively raw production.
Most drum and percussion sounds, as well as the guitar tracks were performed on the one instrument, Tully's "Eclipse", a custom acoustic guitar designed and built in Sydney, Australia by Ken Whitehouse. Accompanying these sounds are some old organs and bass guitars, the Wazinator stomp, and the muffler from an old Toyota Hiace van.
All music written and performed by Tully Dingle.
Recorded and mixed at the Manor, Marrickville, Sydney, Australia. . . Remastered 2017
