a little about myself . . .

I have been making and writing music for as long as I can remember, learning a variety of instruments from a very early age. As well as appearing on different instruments in a multitude of bands in the Sydney music scene, I have been an actively gigging solo artist for nigh on 15 years, and have performed all instrumentation on a number of albums during that time.

In 2007 I took a teaching post at Mona Vale Music in Sydney, where I spent 9 years, during which time I ran private and group classes for hundreds of students of all levels in a plethora of styles. I also regularly facilitated ensembles, workshops and events, as well as regular opportunities for performance and musical production.

As a teacher I look to tailor lessons to whatever it is the student wishes to get out of it. I want to bring out the wonder in the making of music, whilst building a solid and practical understanding of music theory and skills.

I moved to Kununurra a few months ago in support of my wife's career dreams, and very much looking forward to becoming a part of this crazy little town myself, and offering what I can of what I have learnt and love.
